Hollywood Director Under Arrest by Tina Bender
Prominent Hollywood director Edward Pines was arrested in Los Angeles over the weekend after a routine traffic stop revealed a collection of pornographic materials in the back seat of his car. While nudity is nothing new to Hollywood – and definitely not to Pines’s risqué films! – these particular magazines depicted not stacked starlet wanna-be’s, but young boys. Now along with Oscar and Golden Globe winner, Pines can add “pedophile” to his list of credits.
Pines’s bail hearing is scheduled for sometime in November, though his attorney released a statement today saying, “Mr. Pines is an upstanding member of our community who gives tirelessly to charity. We have no doubt that his innocence will be proven quickly and without damage to his career.”
This reporter’s response: Yeah right. That’s even less believable than the premise of Pines’s last film.
